Sunflower

Cedar

The Northern White Cedar (Thuja occidentalis), also known as arborvitae, is a coniferous tree native to North America, primarily found in the northeastern United States and southeastern Canada. This slow-growing tree thrives in wetlands and cool, moist forests, often forming dense thickets. The tree also plays an important ecological role, providing food and shelter for wildlife, including deer and birds. Its aromatic foliage is due to the presence of natural oils, which help deter pests and contribute to its distinct fragrance.. Northern White Cedar is culturally significant, particularly for Indigenous peoples who have long used it for medicinal and practical purposes.

This raw and primitive piece was inspired by focusing on the cores of the two Cedar tree branches. It has a sense of love and promise. I enjoyed the process of keeping loose with the pieces, and allowing the free mind to provide the resonance to assemble them in a unified way.

My artwork is more than a visual experience; it’s a meditative journey.

Crafted from carefully selected wood species, each piece reveals the unique patterns of growth and time—its rings, grains, and knots tracing the rhythms of nature itself. Sacred geometry subtly overlays these patterns, bringing out the tree's character and aligning its design with universal patterns.

Embedded magnets harmonize the surrounding energy, grounding the viewer and inviting calm, while soft sounds resonate through the wood, creating an immersive field that quiets the mind and elevates awareness. Together, the wood, magnetism, and sound create a space for introspection and peace, turning the artwork into a vessel for harmony, grounding, and higher consciousness. This is not merely art for the eyes but a sanctuary for the soul, where nature and universal energies converge to bring tranquility and depth to any space.
